Peers.org launches gathering place for 'sharing economy'

The sharing economy is now a movement.

With the launch of nonprofit Peers.org, says Next City, the ride-sharers, room-sharers, skill-sharers and *-sharers can come together in something bigger than themselves.

Sharing, Peers.org founder Natalie Foster says, "will be the defining economic story of the 21st century."

On Peers.org already is a list of organizations and companies promoting the sharing economy. On the list so far are some familiar names to District residents: Lyft, RelayRides, Sidecar, and more.
