DC group asks: What stores do you want to see in the District?

The Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP) wants to know what's on D.C. residents' retail wish list. The nonprofit organization, along with representatives from the Mayor's office, is going to the International Council of Shopping Centers Conference (RECon) in Las Vegas May 17-20, according to a press release from WDCEP.

RECon is the global convention for the shopping center industry and provides networking, deal making and educational opportunities for more than 35,000 retail real estate professionals from around the world. The District has been sending representatives to RECon for the past 14 years; some of the negotiations from past years have landed Apple, Costco, H&M, Harris Teeter, Nike and Nordstrom Rack in D.C.

WDCEP wants D.C. residents' input about what retail brands they would like to see. To get in on the conversation and give feedback, tweet @WDCEP #WeDC.
