Who's hiring in DC: Social Driver, Contactually, Fluencia

Every other week, Elevation DC reports on the latest in company hiring news.

District digital marketing agency Social Driver is hiring again. The agency is looking for a front end developer, a PHP developer for Drupal and Wordpress, a marketing and business development manager and a graphic designer, among other positions.

According to cofounder Tony Cappaert, Contactually is looking to add 24 people to its team by year's end. "We're especially [looking for] sales people and engineers; we're hiring 12 and 5 of those folks, respectively, this year," he says. Pet lovers take note: Contactually is a dog-friendly office.

Rosslyn-based Fluencia, maker of SpanishDict.com, is creating a mobile platform for learning Spanish online. The company is hiring eight, including a lead UI designer, a front end engineer, a software engineer and a business analytics manager.

District-based web design firm nclud is hiring two: a Rails developer  and a front end developer.

Canvas, the SaaS platform for apps and app development based in Reston, is hiring a web developer with in-depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails, SQL and AJAX.

WeddingWire, based in Chevy Chase, is hiring a mobile marketing manager with at least five years of marketing experience.

General Assembly in D.C. is filling five positions, including a full-time associate admissions producer and instructors in user experience design immersive and web development immersive (both contract).
