Mayor Bowser to unveil DC Innovation Opportunity program

The D.C. government, in conjunction with General Assembly, 1776 and several corporate sponsors, is announcing a new program called DC Innovation Opportunity. The program is designed to give high-potential, low-income D.C. residents access to tech jobs in the digital economy through what appears to be a new training program.

The official announcement should come tomorrow, May 6, at 10 a.m. at 1776. Interested parties can follow along on Twitter via #DCOpportunity.
