D.C. public charter school Mary McLeod Bethune Day Academy staff, students and community volunteers will build a new KaBOOM! playground on May 15 on school grounds.

The Metropolitan Overlook, a 37-unit condo building that has been vacant for two decades, is getting a much-needed overhaul while preserving 11 of the units as affordable.

Demolition is nearly complete at 901 Monroe Street NE and construction on this new mixed-use development is about to begin.

The corridor will get its first high-end supper-club style eatery when permitting and renovations are complete.

DC Department of General Services (DGS) spokesperson Darrell Pressley confirmed that site prep work will begin the week of February 24th.
