The bacon-onion blue cheeseburger at
Farmers Fishers Bakers and Thunder Burger's
eponymous offering are #84 and #82 on a list of the
101 best burgers in America, according to The Daily Meal.
The bacon-onion burger is "near-perfect...with a tangy array of flavors that help bring out the fresh patty's flavors."
Thunder Burger's burger is "one of the best customizable burger experiences in the country...get creative with toppings like pineapple salsa, triple cream brie, pulled pork, foie gras, and, well, the list goes on."
Well, we're hungry. Except that sandwiched between the two D.C. winners is the Double Bypass Burger from Las Vegas's Heart Attack Grill, where at least two people have actually died of heart attacks after eating there. So maybe we'll go with a salad.
