For those who've forgotten (or for those who haven't read
Elevation DC's coverage of the company) Spinnakr provides a code snippet to website owners that can display targeted messages to certain people.
So for example, if

Forbes from Elevation DC might see a message that reads, "Welcome, Elevation DC readers!" and provide a special coupon.
