Crash-coding course comes to D.C.

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a high demand for tech savvy employees in the District. Tech Talent South wants to fill that void--at least for two weeks--with its signature coding crash course.

The PopUpCode bootcamp is a consolidated version of Tech Talent South’s eight week Code Immersion Program that teaches a number of programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS, Javascript and AJAX. For $2,250, students will learn the basics in web application development and coding, while immersing themselves in the local tech scene.

Since its conception, the company has been dedicated to bringing tech resources to southern cities. They currently operate programming in Asheville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Jacksonville, New Orleans, and Raleigh.

The D.C. version is a partnership with neighborhood coworking space Cove. Classes begin July 17. Applications are open through July 13.
