Who's hiring in DC: District Doughnut, Young Playwrights' Theater, The Duke and the Duck

Every other week, Elevation DC reports on the latest in company hiring news.

D.C.-based District Doughnut is filling four positions: front-of-house, daytime pastry cook, nighttime pastry cook and delivery driver. All positions are based in the company's Barracks Row shop. More information here. Interested parties should send a cover letter and resume to [email protected].
 
Young Playwrights' Theater, a District-based nonprofit organization that encourages students to write original plays, is looking for teaching artists for the 2015-16 school year. The Duke and the Duck, a video/animation studio and creative agency based in South Dupont Circle, is looking for a motion designer. The right person will "eat, sleep and breathe After Effects," and in return, will get unlimited coffee and semi-limited beer. More info and apply here.
 
Boston-based Bridj, the rideshare system that launched in D.C. a few weeks ago, is hiring a city general manager and a field organizer for its D.C. operations. More information is here but you have to apply here.
 
SoapBox Soaps, based in Alexandria, is looking to add two people to its team of seven—a director of business development for the Elements line and a financial controller. Interested? Gather your resume, four references and a cover letter and submit them here.
