What can DC do better? Two startups ask you to weigh in

With thousands of new residents settling in D.C. each month, it’s clear that the city has a lot to offer. But two local startups Fosterly and Betterific believe there’s room for improvement and want to hear from you, reports Technical.ly DC.

As a part of the city’s InnoMAYtion Challenge, D.C. residents have been weighing-in via a website that asks, “What innovative ideas should the District of Columbia consider to improve the lives of those who live, work, and play in the city?”

Latest feedback ranges from dance marathons to fundraise for the city to repurposing properties for better neighborhood use and creating more cohesion among government agencies.

The site will be up until May 31, then answers will be forwarded to the mayor, the Office of the Chief Technology Officer and the Washington, DC Economic Partnership.

This is your chance to voice your opinions, so don’t miss out!
