How the 'Drunk Mode' app reached over a half million users

In an interview with TechFlash, Joshua Anton, CEO and founder of Drunk Mode spoke about how his Herndon-based app is preventing college students from drunk dialing as well as providing a few other helpful options when full-on inebriation kicks in.

The app’s main features include grouping certain contacts into a queue where you must answer a set of math problems in order to call them; seeing where your friends are in real time via social media; providing easy access to Uber and Lyft; and showing you where you were the night before.

According the the article, the app is used on more than 170 college campuses across the country with 550,000 users and is projected to reach a million by September.
