Nido, a Mediterranean restaurant planned for Rhode Island Ave NE, will open June 25th, the restaurant announced in a press release.
The "neighborhood bistro with eclectic Mediterranean cuisine" at 2214 Rhode Island Ave NE comes from Karlos Leopold, co-owner of Boundary Road Restaurant, and his partner, Erin Lingle, a long-time restaurant manager.
Most prices were not available on the sample
menu the restaurant made available, but it looks as though the restaurant will serve a number of snacks, small plates, entree-size pastas and sharing-size large plates.
The restaurant is also expected to have "
a substantial beverage program."
