New multimilliondollar condos in Georgetown to be ready in September

1055 High

Construction on seven luxury condominiums in Georgetown with views of the Potomac River and the Kennedy Center will wrap up by mid-September.

Located at 1055 Wisconsin Ave. NW, 1055 High will feature three- and four-bedroom residences that range from 3,300 to 4,400 square feet. The property’s amenities include a glass-enclosed, rooftop fitness center, a 45-foot outdoor pool and a secluded garden with an entertaining area.

Developers Eastbanc and Willco Companies haven’t set exact prices yet, but the residences will start at $3 million and cap at $5 million, says project manager Erin Mullan. Beyer Blinder Belle is the project’s architect.

The property also has two retail spaces with 800 and 1,200 square feet.

“There’s not a better location. It’s smack in the center of Georgetown,” Mullan says.

The condominiums are located at the intersection of the C&O Canal and Wisconsin Avenue, near Waterfront Park and M Street. The project is dubbed 1055 High because High Street was the name of Wisconsin Avenue prior to 1895.
