Zagat has listed Kapnos and Zaytinya on its list of "16 must-try restaurants" this summer. Kapnos, the new northern Greek restaurant from Mike Isabella on 14th St. NW, is "a sizzler. Goats, pigs and chickens are roasting over open flames in its exposed kitchen, and diners seated at the eating counter can feel the heat."
Meanwhile, Zaytinya received props for chef Jose Andres's harissa fizz, with silver tequila, a housemade harissa, ginger liqueur and its own lemon soda.
