Uber, the car-hailing service that lets you request a limo or sedan from your smartphone, is now allowing D.C. users to hail regular cabs from their phones.
Unlike Uber's sedan pricing, which varied based on a number of factors, the price an UberTAXI user pays for a trip is whatever the meter reads, plus an automatic 20 percent tip.
