District residents love wine, board games, for a romantic night

Dating site HowAboutWe.com analyzed one million dates posted on its site in order to figure out what people looking for love want to do most on a first date.

In D.C., the most popular date location/activity was picnicking on the Mall. But prospective Romeos also suggested strolling through Eastern Market, catching a Nats game, or visiting Busboys and Poets or the H Street Country Club.

Other first-date ideas? Cupcakes (14 % of all dates posted in D.C. appear to mention cupcakes), board games, bowling and drinking wine.

Another interesting tidbit: D.C. is the city with the most "music and dancing" dates posted, according to HowAboutWe.
