Prices for new housing in D.C. have risen 4.5 percent since a recent low two and a half years ago, according to a report from the National Association of Home Builders.
The District joins more than 250 other metropolitan areas as 'improving markets' on the NAHB's list, which tracks consecutive gains over six months or more. Read more
