Who's hiring in DC: iStrategy Labs, Think Local First, Fundrise

Every other week, Elevation DC reports on the latest in company hiring news.

iStrategy Labs, a digital agency in Dupont Circle, is growing yet again. They are hiring for the following positions: product engineer, interactive designer, full-stack developer, front-end engineer and a "wild card." Ever the envelope-pusher, iSL is offering a free dog as a signing bonus.

Think Local First, an advocacy group for growing a sustainable local economy in the District, is looking for a new executive director. The idea candidate will have leadership, management, marketing and financial planning skills as well as a passion for local D.C. businesses.

Fundrise, a D.C. firm dedicated to leveling the playing field for real estate investment, is hiring a software engineer to prototype and implement new features on the company's platform. In addition to front-end and back-end development skills, candidates should have at least three years of experience in building production-level web apps.
 
Urbanful, a spinoff from nonprofit Smart Growth America that bills itself as "part magazine, part marketplace," is hiring a social media manager. The position is contract and is full-time.

Content engagement firm AddThis is looking to add 10 locals to its Vienna, Va.-based team. The bulk of the job opportunities are in engineering but the list does include positions in advertising (campaign manager) and operations (senior DevOps engineer and Linux systems admin). The company offers flexible scheduling, work-from-home options and sports—include tennis—onsite.

Riide, based in D.C. near U St., is building out its sales and marketing team. The company is looking for marketers to design and execute campaigns, including perfecting the test Riide experience. Interested parties should email [email protected], subject line: [First name] Riide on – Summer 2014, include a 140-character description of why they are perfect for the position, and attach a document (not a resume) with three relevant experiences that explain why they are qualified for the position.
