Distil Networks raises $21M

Cybersecurity firm Distil Networks will welcome 100 new employees within the next year, CEO and co-founder Rami Essaid told DC Inno.

The company’s mission of “protecting the world’s most successful websites” has earned it a $21 million Series B led by a new investor, Bessemer Venture Partners, according to the article.

In addition to expanding the company’s team, the funds will be used to open a new office in Northern Va. and expand the size of its San Francisco and Arlington, Va. locations.

Among the firm’s current clients are Glassdoor, CrunchBase, FindTheBest.com and Wayfair--and new customers are joining the fold each quarter, said Essaid.
