Gentrification, Revitalization or Renaissance?

A panel discussion October 21 will examine our changing D.C., the affordable housing crisis, and some solutions--as well as how newcomers and long-time residents are finding ways to live in harmony.
Please join us Oct. 21 from 6-8:30 p.m. for a lively panel discussion at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1500 9th St NW, just a few blocks from the Shaw Metro and a block from the CityMarket at O development.

Our panelists include:
  • Buwa Binitie, managing principal at developer Dantes Partners
  • Bernard Demczuk, Ph.D, George Washington University’s assistant vice president for D.C. government relations and an African American history teacher at School Without Walls, and Ben's Chili Bowl historian
  • Dominic Moulden, ONE DC
And we're very pleased to announce that Rebecca Sheir, host of WAMU's Metro Connection, will moderate the discussion.

Free light bites will be provided.
