Pepco has agreed to Brookland residents’ request to install a “green wall” at the Pepco Substation, in the 3100 block of 12
th Street NE, according to the blog
Brookland Bridge. Planter beds and vines on trellises will be installed along the long brick wall by mid-July. Neighbors approached Pepco two years ago with the idea of beautifying the substation’s wall.
