Glover Park building approved for expansion

A district building permit was issued on July 9 for the conversion of an existing two-story apartment building at 4012 Edmunds Street NW into a three-story building with nine units. The permit allows the expansion of the building with new rear and third story additions.

The permit was issued to Workshop T10 Architects on behalf of 4012 Edmunds Street NW LLC, in Bethesda, Md. The currently vacant 3,460-square foot multi-family building could accommodate up to four tenants. Built in 1939, it is located in Glover Park.

Last year, the four bedroom-four bath building sold for $1.45 million, according to city records.
