Developers JBG and Lowe Enterprises, in partnership with EYA, are proposing to construct 170 multi-story townhouses, 20 percent of which would be designated affordable, and approximately 27,000 square feet of retail in the second phase of Fort Totten Square, the blog Next Stop…Riggs Park
reports. The second phase is located on the southeast corner of Riggs Park and South Dakota Avenue NE, directly across from the
nearly completed first phase, at 300 Riggs Road NE.
The developers had originally proposed for the second phase apartments above ground-floor retail.
