A new restaurant from Rose’s Luxury owner Aaron Silverman is a go after ANC 6B and Silverman reached an agreement on key issues like hours, noise and trash, Hill Rag
reports. The agreement was a precondition to ANC’s and neighbors’ supporting Silverman’s request for a liquor license for Elaine’s, a 65-seat restaurant and sidewalk café located in the 2,000-square foot ground-floor space at 715 8th St SE, currently occupied by Homebody, a home-goods store. Silverman
has said Elaine’s will have fine dining in the evenings and double as a coffee shop and café during the day.
