Bang Salon opens its fourth location at The Yards, at 1212 4th St. SE, in summer 2014. The 1,500-square-foot salon is part of the $6.5 million, 30,000-square-foot Twelve12 mixed-use development, as is a new VIDA Fitness, Penthouse Pool Club and Aura Spa (and a
TaKorean, a Sweetgreen, and a Harris Teeter). The salon, spa, gym and pool all come from the same company, Urban Adventures Companies.
“Bang’s new design aesthetic perfectly complements the eclectic atmoshere of this rapidly evolving Capitol Riverfront neighborhood,” Nikki Esoldo, co-owner of Bang Salon, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to open our fourth location at The Yards and to be apart of this charming waterfront community.”
The salon will offer 15 styling stations and the full complent of Bang products, a press release says.
Twelve12 also offers more than 200 apartments (leasing has
begun, though prices for the one- and two-bedroom units were not immediately available), a rooftop deck and a pool. It's just one of the many projects that are currently under construction in the growing Capitol Riverfront neighborhood.
