A zip line, a play "farmers' market" and more are among the new improvements at two recently renovated District parks.

The restaurant/coffee house is planning to open in four weeks. Head chef Shannan Troncoso, formerly of Matchbox Food Group, will serve up the comfort food (grits! Sous vide pork chop!) planned for the Brookland space.
