Two parks have popped up in D.C. in recent days, one in NoMa and the other in the Golden Triangle.

I-395 was part of a planned "inner Beltway" that would have destroyed thousands of homes. Most of that highway was stopped, but I-395 still got built. Now that scar is going to be healed.
